Policies
Group Classes: Mommy&Me, Music Theatre, Noise
Classes are once a week and meet on a month-to-month basis. Mommy&Me classes run year round with scheduled holiday breaks. Other classes have a school year calendar (Sep-May).
Tuition is due the first week of each month. A $10 late fee will be charged on the 15th of the month. A $30 charge will be assessed for all returned checks.
You are responsible for tuition payments until you complete a class drop card and submit to your class instructor. A one-month notice of withdrawal is required.
Missed classes due to illness or vacation may be made up. Check with your instructor for make-up times or email mbanning@mspatulsa.com. Missed classes are non-refundable.
Private Lessons
Enrollment
Students may begin lessons at any time during the school year. Commitments are month by month. A completed registration form with tuition, registration fee and book fee is required for enrollment.
Refund Policy
You may receive a refund up to 72 hours before the date of enrollment. After that date, all tuition and fees for students enrolled are non–refundable.
Monthly tuition is the same regardless of the number of classes per month. There will be no tuition deductions for missed lessons due to illness, family emergency, vacations, holidays or cancellation due to bad weather. Midtown School of Performing Arts reserves the right to discontinue lessons for late or non-payment.
Scheduling
Once a student has been given a lesson time, it is assumed they will continue lessons indefinitely. If a student must withdraw, we must receive notice before the next month so we can assign the lesson time to another student. If we do not receive 2 weeks notice, the student is obligated to pay for the following month.
Make-Up Lessons
Due to Teacher schedules, we do not offer makeup lessons to students. Credits are not given for lessons missed by the student. However, if the lesson is cancelled by the teacher, your account will be credited or you will be contacted to arrange another lesson time. If you can not attend a lesson, please call your instructor at least 4 hours prior to lesson time.
Fees
$10 late fee will be charged on the 15th of the month.
$30 returned check fee.
Midtown School of Performing Arts reserves the right to discontinue lessons for late or non-payment.
Holidays
We will be closed the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of Thanksgiving weekend, Spring Break and one week in July. We will take a two week Winter break in December to coincide with school closings.
Inclement Weather
In case of bad weather, we will follow the Tulsa Public Schools closings. Students may call the studio or check the website to confirm.

Performances
Music Theater students need to be able to commit to the following performances for each semester:
- Winter Recital -- First weekend in December
- Spring Recital -- Third weekend in May
Student of the Month
Anna Sullivan and Audrey Grace Farrington
Audrey is eight years old and is in the second grade. She takes piano lessons and music theatre classes at MSPA and also enjoys dance, soccer, and spending time with friends. Audrey loves to learn new things with her teachers, Ms. Megan and Mrs. Gancarz, and wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up.
Anna Sullivan is 14 and will be a Freshman at Edison High School. She takes voice and piano lessons at MSPA and also enjoys soccer. Anna likes everything that she is learning in private lessons and aspires to be a musician when she grows up.
